A Passion for Paws, from Kentucky to Gone Dog
Emily’s journey as an animal lover began on a horse farm in Kentucky, where her deep passion for caring for creatures blossomed. From her early days tending to farm animals to managing cozy backyards full of happy pets, Emily’s heart has always been in animal care. Over the years, she’s worked with every type of pet imaginable—dogs, cats, pocket pets (hello, ferrets and rats!), fish, hermit crabs, and even a rehabilitated fawn. No creature is too big or small to earn her love and attention.
But Emily’s journey took an even more personal turn when she became a devoted dog mom herself. Understanding the importance of finding a safe, trustworthy environment for your pets, she founded Gone Dog—a place where your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always top priorities.
