Meet the Team

  • Emily

    FOUNDER & CAREGIVER

    As the heart and soul behind Gone Dog, EJ is your pup’s primary caregiver and the human they’ll get to know best. With a deep passion for canine behavior, enrichment, and emotional well-being, EJ provides personalized care rooted in empathy and connection.

    Whether it’s snuggles, sensory play, homemade dinners, or a tuck-in ritual at bedtime, EJ creates a cozy, calm, and structured home-away-from-home tailored to each dog’s needs.

    EJ lives on-site and is present for every meet & greet, drop-off, and daily care routine.

  • Ken

    CAREGIVER

    Ken supports Gone Dog in more subtle ways. As EJ’s partner, he helps maintain the home and yard, provides backup when needed, and occasionally joins for walks or cuddle sessions when he’s not working at UW.

    While he doesn’t handle the day-to-day operations or client communication, Ken is a steady, comforting presence for dogs who grow familiar with the home.

  • Olive

    QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

    Olive is our sensitive, spirited, and brilliant babygirl. She brings big energy and even bigger heart, tries out all the enrichment activities, and makes sure the vibes stay fun and friendly (with just a touch of chaos).

    Olive has her quirks, including reactivity and a few big feelings, so she’s not a co-host for every dog — but she’s part of the heartbeat of the household, and we work hard to keep her routine steady and her experiences positive.

    VERY IMPORTANT PAWRENT

    Packing the perfect go-bag, writing detailed care instructions (which we love), and raising seriously amazing pups. We consider our pet parents true partners in care.
