Meet Olive!
Border Collie, Mixed
Female, 1 year 6 months old, 45 lbs
Also known as Olivia Mae Marie, Princess Pooper, and Cutie Bootie Baby Girl, this Border Collie mix is a bundle of energy and affection. A social butterfly at the dog park, Olive loves making new friends—both canine and human. Though a bit shy and/or vocal at first, she quickly warms up and will steal your heart with her sweet nature. As a rescue, Olive is still adjusting to her new world and can have moments of anxiety, but with love and patience, she’s thriving.
She’s an athlete at heart, always ready for a game of fetch (though sharing the ball is a work in progress!) and mastering new tricks like sit, lay down, and spin. While we’re still working on jumping, leash manners, and polite greetings, she’s making great strides every day. We’re committed to helping Olive experience new adventures and become the best version of herself. She’s a lovable, spirited girl who brings joy wherever she goes—just be ready for plenty of zoomies, cuddles, and goofy antics!
Olive’s Care Instructions:
Olive is microchipped, spayed, and fully house-trained. She strikes the perfect balance between independence and affection—she enjoys having the freedom to roam but is also content with scheduled potty breaks every few hours (though she can hold it longer if needed).
She eats twice a day, with one cup of kibble per meal (topped with a little salmon oil or egg mix for an extra treat). She also enjoys occasional mix-ins like canned salmon, chicken, peanut butter, or apple for variety.
As a super chewer, Olive needs tough, durable toys—tennis balls don’t last long in her paws! Heavy-duty chew toys are a must to keep her entertained.
Her health and well-being are covered with AAA Pet Insurance + Wellness Policy, ensuring she stays happy, healthy, and ready for every adventure.
“Olive was such a sweet pup and we would welcome her back anytime! She loved wrestling and playing with my dogs and was really good at fetch! She slept well thrpugh the night with no accidents. It did take her a while to calm down to the new surroundings at my house and seemed nervous, but only for a short bit and easily settled in. Olive is a very smart and loving pup!”
“For being recently rescued and a puppy she did great! Did great with the kids and thought the cat was weird haha”
