Gone Dog: Boarding & Daycare is a family-run business built on a shared passion for animals and a commitment to exceptional pet care. Emily and Ken are the brains behind the operation, working together to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment for every pup who stays with them.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Emily is dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to each dog’s unique needs—whether it’s plenty of playtime incorporating enrichment activities, a cozy snuggle session, or extra attention for pups who need a little more reassurance.
Ken, an army veteran and Gone Dog co-owner, brings his own dedication and love for animals to the mix—ensuring every dog receives attentive care, structured routines, and all the belly rubs they could ask for.
Together, Emily and Ken have created a home-away-from-home where dogs are treated like family. Whether it’s a weekend stay or a day at doggie daycare, they provide a nurturing, structured environment where pups can thrive while their owners are away.
Olive
Chief Playtime Officer
Olive, our beloved Border Collie mix, is more than just a resident pup—she’s an essential part of the Gone Dog team! As our Chief Playtime Officer, Olive takes her role seriously, ensuring every visiting dog feels welcome, engaged, and ready for fun. Whether leading zoomies in the yard, demonstrating the art of the perfect fetch, or offering a friendly tail wag to new arrivals, she’s always on duty.
Though she’s still young and full of energy, Olive has quite an intuitive nature, making her a great companion for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. She loves making new friends, both human and canine, and helps set the tone for a positive, social environment. When she’s not busy playing, you can find her snoozing in the sun, keeping an eye on the action, or practicing new tricks (for treats, of course!).
Olive is the heart of Gone Dog, bringing joy, laughter, and a little bit of mischief to our pack. She’s here to make every pup’s stay a little more fun!
